So even if you are less than 2 years old, I will make you work!
No really I'm kidding, but I had to take a picture of my little young gardener while he was helping me water the patio. I have lots of potted plants, which he attempted to "drown". He had moved on to washing the bricks off and water the flowers. What a wonderful assistant I have, now I just have to keep him from over watering my pots!
I had to force him to take his OSHA break. Milk time!

Shedding the LBs
So I'm on a gestational diabetes diet, even though I don't have it but something they call "Glucose Intolerance". Unfortunately unlike Lactose Intolerance you can't just take a Lactaid then eat a piece of cake.
Whatever.
But my point is, I did the whole weigh in and get your belly measured today. So far in the 9 months of pregnancy I have only gained..... drum roll please......
2 lbs!
Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot?!?
Apparently with this diet Mom loses weight, and baby still continues to grow. Which he has, cus it apparent on my hip bones right now. Owwwie!
My medical staff is not concerned, but actually happy to see the weight loss within reason. Healthier? Really? It seems so weird and foreign to me.
I live in Backwards World.

The Big Move!
So yes yet again I have been MIA! But for a good reason. We have moved!
Not very far away, just into my Grandfathers ranch house. He is elderly and has been living in a retirement community. Unfortunately he didn't like that situation and longed to be back on his ranch he has lived and loved for 50 some-odd years. The place had been run down by the previous tenant, which upset my grandfather very much. After some serious consideration and discussion, it was felt that family needed to live in the ranch house, so my grandfather could live in his apartment above the shop.
Of course it is quite an adjustment for all of us, but it is very nice to be living in the country again. The river scenery is gorgeous, the swimming pool deluxe, the wild creatures amazing and the blue laminate counter top........ well thats just groovy baby!
The house will need some updating to prepare it for future sell, and that falls upon us as well as maintaining the property. But so far we are adapting well to the change and anticipating the birth of our newest son! Whose due date is exactly a month from today!
