What a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day!

BLAH!!

What a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day!

Well no, not really but I just wanted to vent.

I apparently was sent to the wrong building, so that made me late for my ultrasound appointment. Which when I was told not to stress because they knew I was on my way, found a very different response from the actual ultrasound lady.

It was just a bleh appointment. I have to go back on Monday to complete the appt. because she didn't' have enough time to get all the necessary pictures. Plus I had to ask if my husband could come in, AND I had to ask her what the sex was... to only find a monotone response of thinking it might be a boy and there was a 50% chance it was Blah Blah Blah.... Wow. There was no certainty her voice, no excitement, no nothing. Bleh... those might be testicles.

OK...

She was more worried about the incoming patient and her full bladder. Well mine was full and getting pushed on that very moment.. TELL ME WHAT HE/SHE IS THAT'S ALL I ASK!!

Even the pictures they printed out was pure crap. She said the printer wasn't working correctly. What a bad day, poor Ira took off work and everything. I won't even scan and save them cus they are so bad.

I have to see her again on Monday. Wish us both luck.

On a much happier note I must give a rating of 5 kisses to my loving husband today!
He took us all to the park to play on the slides and swings
Purchased yummy Strawberry Limeaides from Sonic to sip
AND
Changed 2 poopy diapers without one comment or complaint or anything! JUST DID IT!!

YEAH!!!!!!!!

Disneyland Trip Feb 09

We were able to take a quick trip down to the Happiest Place on Earth last weekend. Of course it was a lot of fun, as well as surprisingly hot! I wished I had packed a pair of shorts!

Anthony LOVED LOVED LOVED the characters, his most favorites were Captain Hook and Chip. He kept trying to feed Eeyore, and was able to dance with Donald Duck and Winnie the Pooh.

He loved all the rides he was able to go on, and adored the little slide PaPa helped him on. Over and Over and Over he went down that darn slide.

He also got his first Black Ears with his name on it, since last year he wore his baby blue "first ears" hat.

Nap times were tough, as he was so hyped up he didn't want to sleep. Ever. But eventually he would crash out due to sheer exhaustion. As I did as well. =)

I will post some pics soon.

Tomorrow is a big day for my household as we will be finding out the sex of Baby #2!

Monkey See... Monkey Do

So I had to laugh the other day as I was attempting to clean the house with my assistant. I've heard how as a parent we set the example for our children. What we do is viewed and mimicked by our children.
So I guess this is my 18 month old's perception on how things are to be done.

1) Hot pads are to be worn on our heads, not on our hands. And always check your reflection in the oven glass before leaving the room.

2) Vacuum while using your cell phone on speaker phone. Vacuuming while sitting on your butt is also very productive.

3) Rummage through your kitchen drawers while preparing your meals. Also talk on the cell phone while doing this as well.

4) Read the morning newspaper while eating your breakfast! Also making a goatee with your yogurt is healthy for your skin.

I had a great laugh when seeing his actions. I do read the paper every morning while eating my breakfast, this has been something that he has started to do as well. I now have to wait to read until he is finished eating, or he won't finish it at all.

I think I must talk on the phone a lot, hmmmmmmmmm.

I don't vacuum while sitting down, nor do I wear hot pads on my head as well.

However, I also do not play the piano nor vacuum like this......

NAKED!

Seeing Spots

So my little man is allergic to something... but we just don't know what! I think it might be Fruit Loops cereal.
He has a case of the hives which has been very interesting. Saturday night was the worst, he was covered head to toe. The Dr put him on some steroid to help control it, since benedryl wasn't doing anything. Besides that, he seems to be doing OK.
I still have a cold, and a cough that is kicking my butt.
Daddy has taught my little spotted cheetah how to flex his muscles while making a manly growl sound. I've been unsuccessful in obtaining an adorable photo of this event. It is truly a swooning experience! The t-shirt saying his Auntie Sarah got him rings so true...
