Just got back from the fair! Nothing is better than a strawberry-chocolate funnel cake with powder sugar and whipped creme! OHHH YEAH!!
So the funny thing happened in the Petting Zoo tonight. We were bent over petting a goat, and I was all excited because I love goats. Talking it all up for Anthony so he'd get excited. And what do I see when I look back at him, he was petting a little girl's hair who was standing right next to me!
Then again! We were at the calf, and again I was all excited. And what happens? He pets a little boy with this huge mop of soft curly brown hair. I didn't blame him there, it was beautiful hair.
He did get excited when he got to get up close to a friend of ours cow "Legs" Thank you Legs for being so patient with us. She is a beautiful Holstein Cow who won her class earlier today! She was getting ready to go in the show ring one more time. We had a blast playing with the Damas's and Char.
I miss the action of showing. I was telling Ira it was such a HUGE part of my life growing up. Then in college I was on a couple collegiate show teams which I eventually stopped. Then stopped showing open. So now 9 years have gone by with nothing. And to think I was going into Ag Education where it would have been my job to go to the fair. I got a little teary eyed tonight when Ira asked me if I missed it. I think he saw how bright I got when I was telling him about the different animals. I was scratching the face of a huge Suffolk ram at the time. I think that is when I got a little of the "homesick" feeling of missing my sheep.
So when I go back and see it all happening I miss it. Hopefully my kids will get into 4-H or FFA if they choose.
So as I loaded the pics tonight I noticed a picture that my hubby took. He had the camera most of the night.
And also my demise... wouldn't this just suck as the way to go?

Water Wiggles
So I signed up Anthony for Water Wiggles Class. A class for 6 month to 2 year olds to learn to get used to being in the water. It is a cute little class where we sing songs, splash and just feel safe and comfortable in the pool. The instructor called it a bonding class. Today was the second day. He did great! Cindy the teacher reached out for him and he reached out to her so he could "swim" around with her then back to me. We did that a couple times! He was all smiles during that move. He loves to watch me blow bubbles, and loves to splash water his his hands. He hasn't learned to kick with his feet yet, but that will come soon enough. I think tomorrow is dunking day! Tonight in his bath he kept putting his face in the water to try and eat the bubbles. I think Water Wiggles is already working!
We celebrated Anthony's birthday with a Beach Monkey Luau!
Here is a photoslide of the event! It was a wonderful day filled with our most favorite and loved people! What a great way to celebrate Anthony's first year of life!

Tag your it!
Ok Here is the deal... no cleaning before hand! Take pics and post them with your answers!
1) Dream Vacation:
A trip through Europe
2)Self Portrait
haa haa I just found the usual pic of myself in sepia
3)What are the kids/pets doing right now
Umm Anth is up to his usual self....mischief and mayhem
Mr. Pickles is on the chair, and Harley is on the doggie bed. Doing what they do best... sleeping.
The recently shaved Chelsey is resting on her bed as well! LAZY!
4)Closet
Nothing too exciting here. Did you notice the strategic angle taken? =) so you can't see all my whips and chains... just kidding. Or am I... =)
5)Favorite Room
Probably the front room minus the laundry. It is where the action is.
6)Favorite Shoes
I would make a good Okiee... I love to be barefoot. Plus I have a nice french pedi so I am not embarrassed to show them right now
7)Laundry Room
This is my laundry closet. I love my front loaders.
After taking the previous picture, I took clothes out of the dryer. My little helper "helped" me.
8)Bathroom
Notice again the little helper. I think he was wanting to go "fishing" in the toilet again. *SIGH*
9)Sink
EMPTY!! Whoooo hooo. I didn't even cheat I swear!
HOWEVER the floor took a beating from my "helper"
10)Fridge
I did however take out all my booze for this photo. I just moved it to the side it wouldn't show. =0) I swear I have more condiments than food!
hmmmmm who to tag!
Ok Kris, Erica, Alana and Staci! Amanda don't be a wuss and do it girl! The challenge is thrown down! Anyone who randomly reads this... do it too cus your tagged.

Happy Birthday Anthony!
Today is my baby's 1st birthday! I cannot believe that he is one already. He has had a rough time this past year, I am amazed by the strength of him. He will be a strong man when he grows up. I love him so very much and I am SO blessed to have him in my life.
So Happy 1st Birthday Anthony!
