Cinderella Made Work look Easy!

"wonders why I used to think Cinderella looked so cool scrubbing the floor on her hands and knees when I was little. I even tried singing the song. It didn't help or make the chore fun. Dang you Cinderella and your false advertisement!!!"

This was posted on a friend's facebook status. It cracked me up so much because I totally did the same thing as a kid.

OH and that snap your fingers like Mary Poppins did to clean up their room spic and span quickly! Disney warped me to believe that cleaning COULD be fun and quick!

BAH!

So progress on our backyard is coming along! We finished the dog run picket fence, and laid the sod. It's amazing how nice the sod looks. I have the landscape plans for the plantings next. I am excited to get this done. Hopefully the little man will play outside a lot this summer when baby #2 comes along. We sure are working a lot to get it ready for it when the time comes.

I'm thinking about hosting my "tea" party this spring. I had semi-planned one for last year with my friends and their little girls, but with Anthony's surgery, all plans went out the door. Instead of tea I was thinking of using lemonade (for our little girls... plus I think tea is yuk!) Finger sandwiches, scones, muffins, and chocolate! What couldn't be complete without chocolate!

Speaking of chocolate

Thank Heavens Cadbury Eggs are back.

I missed those sugary balls of joy.

in answer to your question we like the one in T-Lock by Safeway (Sushi Cuisine?). We are MAJOR Sushi snobs..coming from the Bay we are used to fresh stuff....this place is the best we have found in this area. it is EXCELLENT...if you know of another we should try let me know...we are typically up for an adventure.

We still haven't found a good chinese or BBQ place yet...any tips?!
